Mick Fanning Takes Historic Fourth Bells Title

Thursday, April 09, 2015. Bells Beach, Australia. Mick Fanning (AUS) has won a record-equalling fourth title at Bells Beach, taking out Adriano de Souza (BRA) in the final on a tiebreak.

The pair both recorded a two-wave score of 15.27 points, with Mick claiming the crown on countback due to a higher single-wave score of 8.17.

“What a great event. All credit to Adriano - to tie, that's so heartbreaking. I'm so stoked.”

Mick now moves to the top of the world rankings as he chases a fourth world title.

Congrats to both team riders, Mick on his signature FCS II MF thruster while Adriano opted for the FCS II Carver PC Carbon template.
